She will be based in the company’s global technology hub.
MetLife announced the appointment of Michelleta (“Mich”) Razon (pictured above) as Head of Data Enablement.
In his new role, Mr. Razon will work with companies across the MetLife market to align enterprise data solutions and capabilities to facilitate easy access, proper management, and effective use of data.
Razon will report to Robin Gordon, MetLife’s chief data and analytics officer. She will be based at MetLife’s Global Technology hub in Cary, North Carolina.
Bill Pappas, head of global technology and operations at MetLife, said: “Mitch sees technology solutions through the eyes of the customer and understands the need to balance high technology with the human touch to truly achieve commercial success. I am aware of my gender.” “She is the latest addition to MetLife’s talented family of professionals who are helping realize these goals and build on our 155-year history.”
Razon joins the company from Google Cloud, where he served as vice president, general manager, and head of commerce. Prior to joining Google Cloud, he served as Head of Engineering for Mastercard Commercial and B2B Solutions. She has also held roles at Teradata and SAS Institute.
Throughout her career, Razon has been an advocate for diversity and women in technology. At MetLife, she will lead a partnership with NC TECH to establish the Technology Workforce Innovation Center. The center is intended to serve as a hub for North Carolina technology employers and employees, with the goal of fostering growth in North Carolina’s technology sector.
