During the exhibition, many local medical institution managers, as well as medical professionals and academics from around the world visited our booth. During the validation, the staff controlled his Toumai™ patient cart at the Dubai booth via the surgeon’s console in Shanghai and performed precise and smooth surgical movements such as incision, traction, clamping, cutting and suturing. Despite a distance of nearly 7,000 kilometers and the use of only a small 5G SIM card, the simulated surgery proceeded without any signal or operational delays. In the field, validation of the remote simulation surgery revealed that the robotic arm and flexible instruments operated stably and provided clear visibility throughout the process.
