Are you looking for someone online? There are websites that do that, but I’m a little nervous.
PimEyes is a reverse image search site that uses facial recognition technology to match every photo of a person ever posted on the internet.
When someone uploads a photo of the person they want to find, Pimmies searches the internet and matches that person’s face to others.
It’s not completely perfect, but it can find the person you’re looking for, or a lookalike, with great accuracy.

However, to see the source of uploaded images, you’ll have to pay for a plan that ranges from $29.99 to $299.99 per month.
“I tested it myself and was amazed at its speed and accuracy. It’s super creepy.” Rowan Chan tweeted.
Although it sounds threatening, PimEyes’ purpose is to help people “take back your image rights and monitor your online presence,” according to the site.
PimEyes uses the latest technology, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to help you find your photos on the internet and protect yourself from scammers, identity thieves, or people using your images illegally. ” states.
If users want to find and delete their photos, they can set up PimEyes alerts that notify them when a photo is uploaded anywhere on the internet.
PimEyes then scrubs the image from the source in conjunction with a professional service.
Despite good intentions, the technology is controversial, with some believing it could be used for stalking.
PimEyes states in its terms of service that “if our data security department reveals abuse of the service, such as stalking or violation of children’s privacy rights, the account will be permanently banned without the right to a refund.”
