Samsung has released February 2024 security updates for its two mid-range smartphones: Galaxy A51 5G and Galaxy A53. Earlier today, the Galaxy A71 5G received the same security update. It looks like many mid-range smartphones will soon receive the February 2024 security update.

The latest software update for the Galaxy A51 5G is available across Europe and comes with firmware versions. A516BXXS8FXA1. New security update for Galaxy A53 has firmware version A536EXXS8DXA8available in Afghanistan, Egypt, Iraq, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Caucasus, UAE, Tunisia, Turkey, and Ukraine.
The February 2024 security update fixes 72 security flaws found in previous versions of software for Galaxy A51 5G and Galaxy A53. New updates only include new security patches, so the download size is relatively small. Samsung launched the Galaxy A51 5G with Android 10 in early 2020 and received an Android 11 update in late 2020, an Android 12 update in late 2021, and an Android 13 update in late 2022.
