In a few days, expected on February 22nd, another affordable Samsung smartphone could be announced, the Galaxy F15 5G. Your instincts are right, the Galaxy F15 could be strikingly similar to the Galaxy A15. But not in all respects…
Here are some colorful promotional images of the Galaxy F15 5G spotted by SmartPrix. The Galaxy F15 reportedly features a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. This is not bad at all, but it does mean that the Moto G54 can support 120Hz.
The Galaxy F15 5G is also expected to have a huge 6,000mAh battery and support for up to 25W fast charging (Samsung just doesn’t want to increase charging speeds, that’s it!)
The upcoming device will reportedly feature a triple camera setup on the back, likely consisting of a 50MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The ultrawide resolution can be slightly more than 5 megapixels, which is pretty standard for a budget-friendly device.
According to the report, the Galaxy F15 5G comes with features such as Voice Focus, which filters out background noise during calls. The phone reportedly comes pre-installed with Android 14 and will receive four major Android OS updates and five years of security updates. The phone is expected to come with a MediTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot.
The phone (expected to be priced under $200) will be available in three colors in India: black, lavender, and mint. Unlike the Galaxy A15 5G on which the device is based, the Galaxy F15 5G does not appear to have a “key island” design element.
