Significance of using AI for smart contract audits
The operations of auditing firms are broadly classified as follows.

Detect vulnerabilities by comparing client contracts to previously identified vulnerability patterns.

Detect vulnerabilities due to inconsistencies in project-specific logic or operations.
In the first task, vulnerabilities in smart contracts are usually checked by humans reviewing the source code. However, auditors’ knowledge of vulnerability patterns and their ability to detect them varies, making oversight due to human error a current problem.
In this regard, Bunzz Audit has a database of previously discovered vulnerability patterns and employs auditing methods that scan code from over 100 perspectives. This approach enables comprehensive coverage and accurate and complete identification of vulnerabilities that would be physically impossible for humans.
From the results obtained through research and development, We believe that a database + AI approach is better suited than a human approach to detect vulnerability patterns like the first task.
As for the second task of detecting specific vulnerabilities in the project’s logic, it is not addressed by the above approaches and is (optionally) handled by the expert auditors of the Bunzz Audit team.
