Jio Brain was announced by Jio Platforms as an artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) platform for enterprises. 5G integration services enable the implementation of ML tools in normal operations in telecommunication networks, corporate networks, and industry-specific IT environments. One of the big highlights of Jio Brain is its enterprise and mobile-enabled Large Language Model (LLM) as a Service capability that enables clients to leverage generative AI capabilities. The cloud-native platform has over 500 REST and data APIs that allow businesses to create customized ML services based on their needs.
The announcement was made by Aayush Bhatnagar, senior vice president of Jio, on LinkedIn, who said that Jio Brain was created after a two-year research period involving hundreds of engineers. A document attached to the announcement highlighted the platform as “his first 5G integrated ML platform in the industry.”
“Jio Brain will not only help create new 5G services, transform enterprises and optimize networks, but also prepare for 6G development, where ML will be a key capability,” Bhatnagar said.
Essentially, the platform is an AI and ML-powered system that provides both automation and possibly generated AI capabilities that allow businesses to perform their operations faster and more efficiently. The service calls itself “industry agnostic” and claims to offer a wide range of features. Jio Brain’s notable products include LLM as a Service, advanced AI capabilities for images, video, text, documents, and voice, cloud-native solutions with plug-and-play architecture, data integration capabilities, multiple AI/ ML embedded mobile apps, web apps, and more.
Companies can use natural language processing (NLP) and AI-generated tasks such as image-to-video generation, text-to-music generation, text-to-image and video generation, audio-to-speech translation, and speech-to-speech. You can use Jio Brain for. For coding, this platform allows you to generate, explain, optimize, and debug code. Additionally, it has core ML capabilities such as ML chains, hyperparameter tuning, and feature engineering. All of these services can be used together or as individual services.
The company also said it is open to collaborating with AI and ML researchers to scale up the platform and add further value to it. Jio has not revealed the launch date of Jio Brain.
