HONOR and Nokia recently signed a new patent cross-licensing agreement focused on breakthrough innovations in 5G and other cellular technologies.
“We are pleased to announce that we have successfully negotiated a joint patent cross-licensing agreement with HONOR, a leading player in the Chinese smartphone market,” said Susanna Martikainen, Chief Licensing Officer for Mobile Devices at Nokia. Ta. “This is the fourth significant non-litigation smartphone agreement that Nokia has entered into in the past 12 months.”

Martikainen said this underlines the robustness of Nokia’s patent portfolio and its enduring contribution to mobile phone standards and related technologies.
