For over 12 years, Michael has been a specialist in the foreign exchange market, working with international investment banks and multinational corporations, helping clients understand trends in the foreign exchange market. Michael specializes in cryptocurrencies to help clients navigate this new frontier. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Michael gained 20 years of foreign exchange trading experience as a senior foreign exchange dealer in New York with U.S. and international investment banks including Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers, and BNP Paribas. Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Hofstra University and currently resides in Lattingtown, New York.

John Lagman is Bloomberg’s Head of APAC Crypto. He joined Bloomberg at the end of June 2014 and works with the sales team to deliver solutions that address clients’ complex needs. This is done through his one-on-one training or seminars directly on FX, where he introduces and explains how the Bloomberg application can help streamline his clients’ workflows. We also provide internal feedback on the applications we develop to assess our client’s needs.
John has over 14 years of experience as a Singapore-based FX options trader/manager and was an FX options trainer for ACI Singapore and Malaysia. Previously, he worked on the buy side as an FX/Interest Rate/Credit Execution Trader and Strategist for over two years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Purdue University and a master’s degree in economics from Brandeis University.
