Dell Technologies and Nokia announced the advancement of a strategic partnership to leverage joint expertise and cutting-edge solutions. This integrated approach includes infrastructure solutions from Dell and private wireless connectivity from Nokia to drive open network architectures across the communications ecosystem and support private 5G use cases within the enterprise.
Nokia has selected Dell as its preferred infrastructure partner for existing Nokia AirFrame customers and is focused on gradually transitioning these customers to Dell’s broader infrastructure portfolio. The portfolio includes Dell PowerEdge servers purpose-built for modern communications networking workloads and more. This strategic partnership means Dell technology is the infrastructure of choice for communications cloud deployments.
The Nokia Digital Automation Cloud (NDAC) private wireless solution is being deployed as Dell’s preferred private wireless platform for edge use cases for enterprise customers. The two companies will work closely to integrate Nokia’s NDAC solution with Dell NativeEdge, an edge operations software platform. This integration provides a comprehensive and scalable solution for enterprises.
