U.S. Coast Guard marine inspectors found a dog trapped high up in a stack of containers at the Port of Houston this week.

After being taken to the Pasadena Animal Shelter to recover for a few days, Connie was flown with Pilot N. Paws to Forever Changed Animal Rescue in Maryland, where she was immediately examined by a veterinarian. .
Shortly after Connie’s arrival, Forever Changed Animal Rescue posted on Facebook: “Her x-rays showed some minor concerns and when an ultrasound was done, Amazing Connie is pregnant!!!
“Connie will be staying with our veterinarian throughout her pregnancy and we will continue to update her and her baby.”
The shelter has been flooded with requests to adopt Connie.
