A key informant in the FBI investigation into Joe Biden’s son Hunter has been indicted by a grand jury for lying under oath in the investigation. It doesn’t bode well for continued attacks on the Biden family from the Republican Party.
A statement Thursday from the Department of Justice announced that Alexander Smirnov, who was identified as a confidential human source in the investigation, was arrested in Las Vegas. The internet was abuzz with comments about the findings and how they might affect Republican attempts to unseat Biden through impeachment.
“This person has just been indicted for making false statements. Do you have any comments?” asked national security attorney Bradley Moss.
“I’m confident we’ll hear measured, objective and humble comments from @seanhannity on this indictment tonight. Positive. No doubt about it,” Moss continued in the sarcastic post.

Dr. Mary Trump, niece of former President Donald Trump, asked, “Can someone please look into this?” [Rep. James] Want to see if Comer (R-Ky.) is okay? ”

“Slow Jim Comer was hit the hardest,” he said.
Former Rudy Giuliani colleague Lev Parnas pointed out that he knows the $5 million bribe from Burisma was a lie after he came forward about Giuliani’s plan to bring down Biden.
“Absolutely stupid clown car,” quipped the University of Texas Graduate School. Law Professor Lee Kowalski.
“What I love about today’s breaking news about the arrest of an FBI informant is that it was all done by the special counsel that Republicans called for to investigate Hunter Biden. They literally bashed the Department of Justice. This guy is trying to dismantle the whole incident by giving in.” Fred Wellman of MeidasTouch points out:.
“I think this is BFD. Once again, key parts of the Hunter Biden case have fallen apart due to lies from alleged ‘witnesses’/’informants.’ ” he said. Tara Setmeyer, former Republican and Lincoln Project podcast host.
