Robots are ready to mow lawns in Southern California, marking a shift in outdoor maintenance.
Electric Sheep, a California-based pioneer in AI and robotics in outdoor services, unveiled its latest AI-powered robotic lawn mower in a live demonstration on Tuesday, January 30th.
The event, hosted by Electric Sheep co-founders Nag Murty, Jarrett Herold, and vice president of autonomy Michael Laskey, promised an up-close look at the company’s cutting-edge technology.
“We are excited to introduce our newest robotic lawn mower and introduce you to the future of outdoor maintenance,” said Nag Murty, co-founder and CEO of Electric Sheep. “Our technology represents a major advancement in the industry, combining AI and robotics to deliver unparalleled efficiency and performance.”
Electric Sheep’s robotic lawn mowers are equipped with advanced AI to autonomously identify movable areas without the need for boundaries or prior programming.
This approach allows robots to work alongside landscaping staff in a variety of environments, from campuses to parks, increasing productivity and accuracy.
Additionally, a sneak preview of the next robot, scheduled to be released in early 2024, was also released during the event.
The company is poised to become a major player in the $1 trillion global market for outdoor infrastructure services. Click here to learn more about electric sheep.
