TikTok users are fascinated by a couple’s “special moment” that was accidentally captured on camera by a stranger.
The “sweet” exchange was captured on a photo taken by @g0osee on June 8, who posted the picture in a viral TikTok video in an attempt to track down the couple. The video has been viewed more than 752,000 times since it was first posted on June 24.
This aerial photograph is taken from Torre Grossa, the tallest tower in San Gimignano, a medieval city in the heart of Tuscany in north-central Italy. In the bottom right of the photograph, a couple is seen embracing in a secluded corner at the top of a staircase on the side of the building.
The poster read: Newsweek: “I think this was taken on the steps going up Torre Grossa, I don’t know where exactly these steps are.
“I had no idea they were a couple until I received the photos after I got home,” the poster added.
The caption accompanying the post reads, “Having lots of fun on TikTok! Filmed in San Gimignano on June 8th!”

The video was overlaid with a note that read, “I took this photo on my trip to Italy this month, but didn’t realize until I had the film developed that there was a sweet couple enjoying a special moment in the corner.”
A message then appears on the screen saying: “I feel like I was destined to capture this moment for them. Please help me find them so they can get this photo!”

TikTok users went wild for the viral photo, and the internet took notice.
Wonderphotography commented: “Amazing, obsessed,” while Lydia Richardson. Edinburgh commented: “The framing and everything… perfect.”
“This is one of the most amazing photos I have ever seen. The image is so serene and I am in love with the view,” user 9147692411354 wrote.
“It’s like a modern-day Renaissance painting,” says Helen Galliford.
