Wiko has announced its latest smartphone, Hi Enjoy 70 Pro 5G, powered by HarmonyOS. The device is equipped with a Dimensity 700 chipset, a large 5,000 mAh battery, and two cameras.
The company is known for relaunching Huawei phones under its own name, and this device is no exception. The Enjoy 70 Pro is virtually identical to the Huawei nova 12i, which was recently introduced in overseas markets.
Wiko Hi Enjoy 70 Pro 5G features a 6.7-inch LCD with Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole for an 8MP selfie camera. The large circle on the back might suggest a large camera setup, but in reality, there’s only one camera available – the main one with a 50 MP sensor.
The second camera is an “AI sensor” and does not contribute anything to the actual images or videos taken by your phone. Setup is complete when the LED flashes.
HarmonyOS is a key selling point for Wiko, and the company has branded the platform’s logo on the camera circle. It has all the great features that are also available on Huawei phones, such as super device, smooth calls, AI subtitles, multitasking, and picture-in-picture mode.
There is a USB-C port on the bottom of the phone that allows you to charge the battery using the 40W adapter included in the retail box.
Wiko offers the Hi Enjoy 70 Pro 5G in three colors: white, black, and green. Pre-orders are now being accepted on JD.com, one of China’s largest online stores, with a starting price of 1,799 RMB ($250/230 EUR) for the 8/128 GB version.
