Infinix, one of the leading smartphone brands in India, has officially announced the launch date of its upcoming smartphone Hot 50 5G. The device is expected to make its debut in the Indian market on September 5. Additionally, the company has teased a few sneak peeks at the design and some key features of the upcoming device.
The Hot 50 5G is said to come with several other variants in the series including the Hot 50 Pro, Hot 50 4G, Hot 50 Pro+, and Hot 50i.
Design details
The Infinix Hot 50 5G is said to be the slimmest smartphone in its segment with a thickness of just 7.8mm, and while the company is yet to reveal the exact pricing, it does hint that the device will be positioned in the mid-range market.
The smartphone will be available in three colour variants.
The back of the phone comes with a vertical pill-shaped module that houses three additional rounded corners and boxy rectangles for camera placement, while the front features a display with a center-aligned punch-hole cutout and slim bezels for an immersive viewing experience.

The Infinix Hot 50 5G comes with a ‘Wet Touch’ display that allows you to operate the screen even when it’s wet.
The device comes with an IP54 rating (dust and water resistant), making it a durable choice for Indian users.Furthermore, it has a 60-month liquidity certification from TÜV SÜD, ensuring smooth performance over time.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, paired with 4GB or 8GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 128GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage.
The rear camera setup includes an “aspherical lens” and supports an “f/1.8 aperture/25mm” configuration, claimed to deliver better photo quality in a variety of lighting conditions.

The new smart TV series comes in three display sizes: 43 inches, 55 inches, and 65 inches. All models offer 4K resolution with thin bezels.

The partnership is aimed at enhancing Airtel’s entertainment offerings for its mobile and Wi-Fi subscribers across India. The new bundled services will be available across select prepaid, postpaid and Wi-Fi plans.
