Actor-turned-writer Twinkle Khanna on Thursday excited her fans with a cryptic post on Instagram about her surname. Twinkle Khanna, a recent graduate from a university in London, crossed out her name and wrote “Kumar Plus 1” beneath it. The author’s comment section was flooded with various reactions from users. While many did not understand the context, many others saw the post as a dig at the congressman’s recent remarks about name changes in Congress. One person wrote: “Very inspiring.” Another said: “Hahahaha that’s why I’m copying this. Absolutely genius.” On the other hand, many people wondered about the content of the post. She also inserted her same text into her own display image and changed her own bio to her “Move over Mrs. Funnybones and say hello to Kumar’s +1” Did.

Previously, the author and columnist shared a video of her convocation ceremony to celebrate receiving her master’s degree from Goldsmiths, University of London. In the video, Twinkle is seen on stage wearing a black robe and hat over a green saree. Twinkle is then seen posing with her husband, actor Akshay Kumar. The diva is then seen happily tossing her hat in the air. Twinkle wrote in the caption: her graduation day. My first day at Goldsmiths feels like yesterday and years ago. A sunny day, wearing her beautiful saree and spending time with her family made the day even more perfect than I could have imagined.
