Today we’d like to introduce you to Chat GPT’s Roast of Evansville.
I love a good roast. Comedy Central Roastand more recently Tom Brady Roast On Netflix. Making fun of someone without taking it personally is one of my favorite forms of humor. Maybe it’s because whenever I get together with friends, we always make fun of each other.
For those who don’t know what a roast is, it’s not the type of roast you eat at dinner. A roast is a type of comedy that pokes fun at a particular individual with jokes. While most roasts are insult comedy, such events can also include sincere praise and compliments. Therefore, the person being roasted should have a good sense of humor and not take the joke as a serious criticism or insult.
I’ve said that for my 40th birthday (which is still a while away), I want to have a birthday roast party, not a birthday party. I think a roast party is a great way to celebrate turning 40. I get to joke around and be joking. Roast parties are my forte, so I thought it’d be fun to see what a roast party would be like in the city of Evansville, Indiana.
Roast in Evansville, Indiana
If you’re from the Evansville area, you know that writing jokes comes naturally. There are so many different things you can do to slam Evansville, including constant road construction, the weather, and even gym town. The jokes are endless, and we’re sure you can all think of a few jokes about Evansville.
Recently there’s been a trend on Instagram and TikTok of asking Chat GPT for a roast. So I thought it would be fun to see what Chat GPT had to say about Evansville in roast form. To my surprise, Chat GPT did not disappoint. So, introduce Chat GPT’s Evansville Roast.
Evansville, Indiana. This city’s slogan should be “At least we’re not Gary!”. Located on the Ohio River, Evansville is a place where local excitement soars when a new fast food restaurant opens. A city so proud of its cornfields that it’s on the tourist map. Downtown seems like a time-traveler from the 1980s, but at least craft beer has finally been discovered… in 2023.
Evansville’s wildest nightlife is hitting the casinos, where you’ll best experience that adrenaline rush from seeing bright lights. If you like potholes, you’ll love the city’s roads; it’s like driving on the moon. And that’s without even mentioning the weather, as if Mother Nature can’t decide between a swamp or a sauna.
But you have to admit, Evansville does have some positives, like being just a few hours away from cities people actually want to visit.
Tell me this isn’t a perfect family roast, it would have been so much worse if I had asked them not to make it PG, so just for fun I hit the regenerate button, here’s another roast of Evansville from Chat GPT.
Evansville, Indiana, is a city where local cuisine is so deep-fried you’d think the air was breaded. This is a place where “cultural events” are county fairs and new shopping mall openings are front-page news. The skyline is a flat line and the only thing slower than traffic is Wi-Fi. The exciting thing about Evansville? Watching the Ohio River slowly erode what’s left of its banks. This is a city where dreams go to long slumber, perhaps in a recliner in a living room filled with “vintage” décor that hasn’t changed since the ’70s.
Both roasts were delicious, if I do say so myself. Is there anything AI can’t do?!

Evansville residents furious over Nextdoor app
Nextdoor is a way for neighbors to connect with each other. They can share crime, good news, lost pets, events, local deals, and much more. It’s a little bit like Facebook and Craigslist with a touch of Linkedin. If you’ve never used it before, it can be a little overwhelming.
