Vivo Y200e 5G could be coming soon. The device was spotted on a certification site, suggesting that the company is working on it. The phone is expected to join the Vivo Y200 5G, which was launched in India in October 2023. The vanilla Y200 was equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC and a 4,800mAh battery with support for wired fast charging. Ahead of the official launch, the design and key details of the Vivo Y200e 5G have been revealed online.
According to a report by 91Mobiles, the Vivo Y200e 5G was listed on the Google Play Console with model number V2327. The phone is said to be powered by an octa-core chipset with model number SM4450, which refers to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. It is tipped to be paired with Adreno 613 GPU and 8GB RAM. This device may also come with his UI based on Android 14.
The report states that a design purported to be Vivo Y200e 5G was also posted online. The phone is shown in blue color, but it is expected to come in several more color options. The design is similar to Vivo Y200 5G. The handset’s triple rear camera system is arranged vertically into three separate circular units alongside an LED flash unit. The rectangular camera module in the top left corner of the textured back panel is similar to the older model, but the new phone may not have the Aura Light feature. The display appears to have thick bezels and a hole-punch slot in the top center that houses the front-facing camera. You can see the power button and volume rocker on the right edge.
Notably, the Vivo Y200 5G is powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. It has a 6.67-inch 120Hz Full HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display and runs Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13. The handset’s dual rear cameras include a 64-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). ) alongside a 2 megapixel sensor. The front camera is equipped with a 16 megapixel sensor.
At launch, the Vivo Y200 5G was priced at Rs. 21,999 for 8GB + 128GB option. Color options include Desert Gold and Jungle Green. Recently, the company announced a new 8GB + 256GB version of the device priced at Rs. 23,999.
