Snoop Dogg and Trump feud, internet reacts to Snoop Dogg’s recent praise
In contrast to his recent statements about the former US president, Snoop Dogg told his followers in 2016 that he was moving to Canada because of Donald Trump. In 2017, he mocked President Trump in his music video for “Lavender” by featuring a character named Ronald Crump dressed as the former president. Crump was also shown pointing a gun at a clown resembling the then-Commander-in-Chief.
Donald Trump also clapped back when the rapper posted on Twitter (now X).

In a radio interview with Big Boy’s Neighborhood in June 2020, Snoop criticized Trump again. He said of casting his first vote in the 2020 presidential election because he doesn’t want Donald Trump to take office.

“I love what they’ve done. Great job for the outgoing president and his team.”
It’s unclear how long Snoop’s current opinion of Trump will last, but several Trump supporters are happy that Snoop and many other rappers are acknowledging the former president’s potential.
