All dogs have a special way of making their owners laugh, but one dog in particular has managed to pull it off even though he hasn’t quite figured out the ropes yet.
Reddit user Trisarahtops753 shared a photo of her dog named Wicket in a Feb. 11 post on the r/Boxers subreddit. When viewers see the series of photos for the first time, they can’t help but laugh.
Boxer Wicket was upside down on the couch, rocking a cute pajama outfit. The owner wrote in the comments that Wicket does this or something similar every morning without moving for at least 10 minutes. Not a typical morning routine for dogs. And every subsequent photo shows Wicket in a cheerful pose, snug as a bug in a rug.
The caption reads, “I’m convinced she’s inhabited by some unknown alien species that doesn’t know how to keep a dog.”

the owner said newsweek Via Reddit, she said she wonders if it’s even possible to teach Wicket to be a dog. Wicket is at his own pace and can be very stubborn.
“She’s so weird,” she said. “I tried to play fetch with her, but she only liked one ball and lost it, so now no matter how many balls I buy, she chases it. And , she gets to the ball and smells it and realizes it’s not a ball.” Hit the right ball and she’ll just walk away.” ”
The list goes on. Wicket requires a heating blanket every time his owner uses it. She plays with cookies instead of eating them.
While this owner is convinced that Wicket is some kind of exotic species, other Reddit users know that this is just typical boxer behavior.
One person wrote, “She doesn’t know how to ‘dog’.” However, she seems to be quite familiar with the “boxer” ways. ”
Another user compared boxers to big cats. Owners agree, saying this is especially true for Wickett, who lives with a cat in the house.
“She grew up with cats, so she sleeps on and behind the couch, prefers cat toys to dog toys, jumps on kitchen counters and tables, and ‘purrs’ when she plays.” There are many cat-like behaviors. ” the author said in a comment.
Boxers are known to be very energetic and playful dogs. The American Kennel Club described this breed as cheerful, alert, sometimes foolish, and always brave.
