The Devil Wears Prada stars Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt reunited to present awards at the 2024 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Blunt was also up for an award for her role in the film Oppenheimer.

On stage, Streep joked about forgetting her glasses and the envelope with the winner’s name on it, and as Hathaway and Blunt tried to give it to her, Streep, played by Streep in The Devil Wears Prada, joked that she had forgotten her glasses and the envelope with the winner’s name on it. He recalled his role as Miranda Priestly’s assistant. Emily Blunt said, “Meryl and Miranda Priestley are like twins,” but Streep disagreed.

Fans are hoping for a sequel to The Devil Wears Prada, but Hathaway said, “I don’t know if it will happen, but I think that movie was from a different time. Everything is digital now. That movie was centered around the concept of making something physical. It’s completely different now.”
Hathaway continued. “Andy (Anne Hathaway) and Emily (Emily Blunt) need to deliver coffee to Miranda (Meryl Streep), and Miranda is somewhere in Europe, picking up Stanley Tucci in Italy on the way. It’s tempting to think that the people in the restaurant. It’s tempting, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. They can reboot it, find new people and run it. ”
However, excitement is building that the film will be turned into a musical, with Vanessa Williams set to play Miranda Priestly on stage and Elton John providing the music.
