If you’ve been waiting to purchase the new 5G-enabled Surface Pro 11 or for the device to become available in Microsoft’s commercial channels, the wait is finally over: you can pre-order the Surface Pro 11 for Business and Surface Laptop 7 for Business now, both with Windows 11 Pro and eco-friendly packaging.
The Surface Pro 11 for Business also includes a new 5G configuration that Microsoft promises will be available later this year. The 5G model will be available with either the X Plus or X Elite SoC, with 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage. The X Plus model will cost $1,399, while the X Elite model will cost $1,899. Unfortunately, the 5G model won’t be available in all regions.
The 5G modem in the Surface Pro 11 has the following specs:

Both the Business-ready Surface Pro and Surface Laptop are offered in just two colors: Black and Platinum. The fun Dune and Sapphire colors are exclusive to the “consumer” versions of the Surface Pro and Surface Laptop. Interestingly, Microsoft notes that the Business-ready Surface Pro will only ship with a power adapter in “select markets” with certain configurations.
Surface Pro 11 for Business and Surface Laptop 7 for Business are available for pre-order starting at $1,099 directly from the Microsoft Store for business, with orders expected to start shipping on September 10.
