T-Mobile has interesting news for residents of Puerto Rico. Un-carrier has rolled out his 5G home internet service to customers based in this US territory.
T-Mobile customers based in Puerto Rico can now sign up for 5G Home Internet with a qualifying voice line and a qualifying address. This service costs $50 per month when AutoPay is enabled. The service can be activated through your local retailer.
In T-Mobile’s announcement, Jorge Martel, vice president and general manager of T-Mobile Puerto Rico, said:
“People are more dependent than ever on Internet access, but many ISPs continue to burden their customers with equipment fees, poor customer service, and exploding bills that increase every year.” Mobile 5G Home Internet Changes Everything. Now, T-Mobile is expanding its commitment to Puerto Rico by harnessing the power of its leading 5G network to offer customers new affordable home Internet options. We’re reaffirming this. To celebrate, we’re giving away a $100 T-Mobile gift card to everyone who signs up, which is like two months of free service.”
T-Mobile also offers a 15-day free trial of the service. If you decide to switch, T-Mobile will pay you up to $750, which should cover early termination fees from other providers.
