Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy M55 5G and Galaxy M15 5G smartphones will be launched in India on April 8, 2024. The M55 is powered by a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, while the M15 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G processor.

Samsung has announced the launch of Galaxy M55 5G and Galaxy M15 5G smartphones in India on April 8, 2024 at 12:00 PM IST. These two devices of his were recently launched in Brazil. The M55 is an upper-midrange product powered by a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, while the M15 is a budget smartphone powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G processor.
Both the Galaxy M55 5G and Galaxy M15 5G use the same design language with camera sensors stacked vertically towards the left side of the back. Galaxy M55 5G is available in two colors: light green and denim black. Meanwhile, Galaxy M15 5G will be available in three color options: Celestine Blue, Stone Gray, and Blue Topaz. screen: Galaxy M55 5G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display that supports 120Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits peak brightness. It also supports Vision Booster technology. Galaxy M15 5G features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display.
Chipset: As mentioned earlier, the Galaxy M55 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen1 processor. Galaxy M15 5G draws power from MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset.
camera: The Galaxy M55 5G features a 50MP primary camera on the back with optical image stabilization (OIS). The device also has a 50 MP selfie camera. The smartphone claims to come with AI-enhanced features in the camera like image clipper and object eraser. Galaxy M15 5G features a 50MP triple rear camera setup.
battery: The Galaxy M55 5G features a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. The Galaxy M15 5G, on the other hand, comes with a larger 6,000 mAh battery that is claimed to last up to 2 days.
Additionally, both smartphones come with Knox Security. Meanwhile, the Galaxy M55 5G is equipped with Samsung Wallet and its Tap & Pay feature, which allows users to carry their digital ID and payment card with them.
