A few days ago, it was revealed that Samsung may soon launch an affordable smartphone called Galaxy F15 5G. In terms of features and specifications, it could be very similar to the Galaxy A15 5G that was announced a few months ago. We got our first look at the Galaxy F15 5G’s design as images leaked.
Galaxy F15 5G design leaked before release
According to images published by 91Mobiles, the Galaxy F15 5G looks very identical to the Galaxy A15 5G. This phone has three rear cameras and is available in at least three colors (black, mint, and purple). The only design change seems to be the removal of the “key island” design present on the Galaxy A15 5G.
Possible specifications of Galaxy F15 5G
The Galaxy A15 5G features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate, so we can expect a similar screen on the Galaxy F15 5G. The phone is also likely to come with the same MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor as the Galaxy A15 5G, 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. Seeing Samsung’s habit of using bigger batteries in its Galaxy F series phones than Galaxy A series phones, the Galaxy F15 5G is likely to come with a bigger battery than the Galaxy A15 5G. That could mean the Galaxy F15 5G could feature a 6,000mAh battery with 25W fast wired charging.
Other features to expect from the Galaxy F15 5G include a 50MP primary camera, 5MP ultrawide camera, 2MP macro camera, and 13MP selfie camera. You may be able to record 1080p video at 30fps. It may also have GPS, dual SIM card slots with 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a fingerprint reader.
