The Galaxy A14 5G and Galaxy A15 have very similar designs and can be mistaken for each other from a distance. The Galaxy A15 is smaller and has a boxier design overall. It’s a subtle difference, but it shows a slight change in Samsung’s design philosophy. Galaxy A14 5G measures 167.7 x 78 x 9.1mm and weighs 202g. The Galaxy A15 measures 160.1 x 76.8 x 8.4mm and weighs about the same at 200g.
There are no major differences when it comes to button and port placement. The front of both devices has a bit of bezel around the display. On the right side are the volume and power buttons for each device. Like many budget devices, the power button doubles as a fingerprint reader. The left side has a combination SIM and microSD slot, while the bottom has USB-C and headphone ports.
The exterior of both devices features Samsung’s signature three vertical camera lenses. To keep costs down, Samsung went with a plastic back and plastic frame. There are no official IP ratings for either device, so keep them away from water.

Performance was decent for a cheap phone. Your phone may seem slow and apps may take longer to open than expected. The storage capacity was also a bit meager, coming with either 64GB or 128GB of storage.
Samsung has finally updated its processor, equipping the Galaxy A15 with MediaTek Dimensity 6100+. The 6100+ offers a slight speed increase that limits how often the phone lags in daily use. It also has 4GB of RAM, but the base storage increases up to 128GB. Luckily, both devices have expandable storage up to 1TB.

Both Galaxy devices are powered by a 5,000mAh battery that can last up to two full days. The Galaxy A14 5G can charge at up to 15W, but it feels slower than I expected. Galaxy A15 boosts wired charging speed to an even better 25W.
At this price point, additional charging capabilities are usually out of the question. These devices do not have features like wireless charging or reverse wireless charging.

The Galaxy A14 5G has a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP f/1.8MP main lens, 2MP f/2.4 macro lens, and 2MP f/2.4 depth camera. The main lens can take decent photos if the lighting is right, but his other two lenses are pretty much useless. The main lens can record 1080p video at 30fps. There is also a 13MP front camera.

The best bet is to enjoy what you have now and look ahead to the Galaxy A16, which is already a year away.
