Over the course of two weeks, we spent some time hands-on with the newly launched Redmi Note 13 series flagship. This is our opinion.
Ahead of the new year, Xiaomi announced plans to release a new lineup of the popular sub-brand “Redmi”, the “Redmi Note 13 series”, and also regularly teased ambassador candidates in Southeast Asia (SEA). A month ago, Lifestyle Asia KL witnessed the official global launch of his series of smartphones in Bangkok, Thailand, and the SEA ambassador had the opportunity to meet his BamBam from K-Pop group GOT7 in person.
Within the Xiaomi family, the Redmi series has always stood out as affordable yet powerful devices. Sleek and slim design. Stunning screen display. Amazing battery life – all without spending a fortune. Here, we will look specifically at the photography experience. The new Redmi Note 13 Pro+ boasts a crystal clear ultra-high resolution 200MP camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). This means you can capture every detail of your photo subject, whether you zoom in or get a wide shot.
Capture iconic shots anytime, day or night with Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G
Over the next few days in bright and sunny Bangkok, I decided to take some photos with the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, the flagship smartphone of the newly launched lineup. We visited some of Bangkok’s most iconic spots, including the Grand Palace, the popular night market, Jod Fair, and Asiatique the Riverfront. The light was very harsh and bright throughout the day, so I was a little worried that the photos would be overexposed.
But it turns out there was nothing to worry about. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ camera comes with his 7P lens with Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) to reduce flare and ghosting. The colors of the royal palace were beautiful against the bright blue sky. This is all thanks to her end-to-end P3 color gamut, which gives you a wider color space and allows you to create photos that look just like they do when viewed inside the camera’s viewfinder. display.
Would you like to take a little night photo shoot? please do not worry. Redmi Note 13 Pro+’s built-in Tetra² pixels (advanced pixel binning technology), large size of 1/1.4 inch and super large f/1.65 aperture make low-light photos bright and clear even in low light. . This made taking photos at the night market a lot easier and I was pleasantly surprised with how the photos turned out.
What is the final verdict?
There’s a lot to enjoy about Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G beyond the camera. First, the battery life was very impressive.I had brought a mobile battery just in case, but even though I had been out all day, and Since we were out in the hot sun, my phone still had a long way to go before its battery died, but this was just after one full charge. Of course, this is thanks to his 120W HyperCharge with his 5000mAh battery that comes with the smartphone. In addition to that, editing photos and videos is very satisfying thanks to its crisp AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and an AdaptiveSync refresh rate of 120Hz. Scrolling couldn’t be smoother.
Retail price is RM1,999 for 12GB+512GB and RM1,599 for 8GB+216GB. This phone is definitely worth getting, especially if you are a photography expert. (Let the photo speak for itself.)
