Global technology brand realme Philippines has announced the imminent launch of its latest smartphone lineup, the realme 13 Pro Series 5G. The news comes as quite a pleasant surprise, given the successful launch of the realme 12 Pro Series 5G and realme GT 6. While the exact launch date has yet to be confirmed, the company has begun building anticipation through teaser posts on its official Facebook page.
The upcoming series will introduce realme’s first AI-powered Ultra Clear Camera, a technology that combines cutting-edge camera technology with striking design elements. This new feature is targeted at younger users who want to take advantage of their new smartphone’s enhanced capabilities to capture and interpret the world around them.
In a departure from its previous collaborations with pop culture brands, realme partnered with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA) to design the 13 Pro Series 5G. A first for the smartphone industry, the collaboration takes inspiration from the work of Claude Monet, one of the most famous impressionist painters.
As such, the new series will feature two exclusive colorways. Monet Gold and Monet Purple. These designs are inspired by Monet’s masterpieces “Sunset” and “Water Lilies” respectively. The artistic effect is produced through a state-of-the-art flash gold process, highlighting elements of these iconic works and giving the device a premium aesthetic.
This design approach continues realme’s tradition of integrating unique cultural elements into its products, following previous collaborations that have produced special editions such as the realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola® Edition and GT NEO 3T Dragon Ball Z Edition.
