This will be the company’s first product category to receive BIS certification in India as well. The listing also shows that the device will have an aspect ratio of 16:10.
The POCO Pad 5G is expected to be a 12.1-inch tablet with a 2.5K LCD 120Hz display protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It will have two 8MP cameras, one on the front and one at the back.
It is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
The device is said to have a 10,000mAh battery and support 33W fast charging.
It runs on Android 14-based Xiaomi HyperOS out of the box.
The teaser also confirms that the tablet will come with accessories such as a keyboard and stylus, though these will likely be sold separately.
Rumor has it that the device will be around ₹25,000.
