First Poco Android tablet will bring 5G and other features at an affordable price
Poco’s first Android tablet to hit the market borrows its hardware and design language from the new Redmi Pad Pro model.
Poco has unveiled its first Android tablet in India, the Pad 5G. The device is powered by a Qualcomm chipset and comes preloaded with Android 14-based HyperOS. It has a large LCD screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and a four-speaker system. It also has a large battery that supports 33W wired fast charging.

The Poco Pad 5G is priced in India at Rs 23,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version and Rs 25,999 for the 8GB + 256GB version. The device is available in two colours – Cobalt Blue and Pistachio Green. The Poco Pad 5G can be bought online. Poco has announced that cardholders of SBI, HDFC and ICICI Bank will get a discount of Rs 3,000. Poco will also be offering a student discount of Rs 1,000.
Features of Poco Pad 5G
The Poco Pad 5G display offers a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 16:10 aspect ratio, Dolby Vision support, and 600 nits peak brightness. The tablet has 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage that can be expanded up to 1.5TB using a microSD card. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with up to 8GB RAM. It comes with the new HyperOS version based on Android 14 out of the box.
The Poco Pad 5G comes with an 8MP rear camera and an LED flash unit. On the front, there’s an 8MP sensor on the right bezel.
The Poco Pad 5G is IP52-rated for dust and water resistance. It has a four-speaker system, two microphones, a 3.5mm headphone connector, and Dolby Atmos capabilities. The device is backed by a 10,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
The Poco Pad 5G weighs 568g and has dimensions of 280.0 x 181.85 x 7.52mm. The tablet supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, and Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity and also has a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
