Technical challenges and solutions
Deploying 5G networks in the limited space of subway tunnels poses technical challenges, such as dense pedestrian traffic and thick walls that obstruct wireless signals. However, Orange pointed out that TOTEM is developing a pooled 5G network that will meet the specific coverage needs of all carriers while ensuring seamless connectivity for passengers.
