Oppo on Wednesday (August 21, 2024) launched its F27 5G smartphone with a halo LED light around the rear camera module that pulsates to the beat of music and can also be customized to notify you of messages and updates when the phone is placed face down.
The Oppo F27 5G is the base model of the Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G that was released in June.
The Chinese smartphone maker has also added AI capabilities to the F27 5G camera, along with Google Gemini tools like AI Writer for quick content creation, AI Summary for text summarization, and AI Speak for converting text to speech, accessible from the sidebar.
The Oppo F25 5G comes with a 6.67-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,100 nits.
Oppo has equipped the F27 5G with a 5,000mAh battery and also includes a 45W charger in the box.

The F27 comes with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP portrait camera. It also comes with a 32MP selfie camera.
The Oppo F27 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Up to 8GB of virtual RAM is also available.
This smartphone is also IP64 rated.
The Oppo F27 5G comes in Amber Orange and Emerald Green colours and is priced starting at ₹22,999 for the 128GB storage model and ₹24,999 for the 256GB model.
