Over the past few days, Doncic’s look-alike has been a hot topic on social media after appearing as an international hopeful at the Basketball Without Borders camp during NBA All-Star Weekend.

This clip was originally from a video published by Swish Cultures titled “18-Year-Old Neokris Avdalas Plays Like Luka Doncic.” As Swish Cultures pointed out, Doncic and Avdalas are both great playmaking guards and both have similar tattoos on their left wrists.
In Swish Culture’s next video, the “Greek Luka” is seen imitating some of Doncic’s signature moves. He buried Luka’s hung dribble pull-up 3, dished out no-looks and behind-the-back passes, showed the same level of body control on drives, and hit Eurosteps to finish inside the lane.

Who is Nuka Doncic?
“Nuka Doncic” is an 18-year-old Greek NBA prospect named Neokris Avdalas. According to his Swish Cultures video above, he prefers to be called “Neo” rather than the nickname “Greek Luke.”
Avdalas made a name for himself during NBA All-Star Weekend’s “Basketball Without Borders” in Indianapolis. The annual showcase tournament spotlights future professional players such as G League Ignite star Matas Bouzelis, Wizards forward Deni Avdija, Raptors forward RJ Barrett, and former veteran forward Nikola Mirotic, to name a few. is assigned.
Avdalas is a big guard ranked 6th or 7th. He will be eligible for the NBA Draft in 2025, but signed a five-year contract with Greek powerhouse and EuroLeague team Panathinaikos in 2022.
Avdalas is currently on loan from Panathinaikos to Karditsas of the Greek Basketball League for the 2023-24 season. He is averaging 2.7 points and 2.1 rebounds in 11.5 minutes in 15 games so far.
