Under the terms of the agreement, Batelco will use Nokia’s private wireless solutions, including a digital automation cloud, modular private wireless, edge computing capabilities, and rugged devices that can be deployed across a variety of industries.
Nokia claims that its international experience in private wireless network deployment will enable organizations in Bahrain to access its expertise in mission-critical communications.
The partnership will make Nokia the sole supplier of private wireless infrastructure across Bahrain, with implementation scheduled for the second half of 2024.
