NETGEAR Expands Enterprise WiFi 7 Solutions Portfolio with New WiFi 7 Access Points

Following on from NETGEAR’s first WiFi 7 business access point, the WBE710 is a more affordable option for organizations looking for greater connectivity.

NETGEAR®, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTGR), a leading provider of networking products powering businesses of all sizes, announced the launch of the WBE710 Insight Manageable Tri-band WiFi 7 Access Point, the latest addition to its WiFi 7 business access point lineup.

With an increasing number of devices with multi-gig capabilities, enterprise networks need to be upgraded to keep up with the data volumes. This need becomes even more critical as enterprises expand and more WiFi 7-enabled devices enter the market. Based on the latest WiFi 7 technology, the WBE710 improves data throughput across multiple bands, reducing network congestion and outperforming older access points in terms of speed, latency and capacity. The access point also solves the problem of signal interference with soon-to-be-available preamble puncturing, allowing devices to use parts of different channels to transmit data, significantly reducing network congestion.

“Since its introduction earlier this year, we’re only just beginning to realize the power of WiFi 7,” said Iphie Chen, director of product management at NETGEAR. “Businesses of all sizes must not only accommodate the proliferation of existing devices, but also consider the inevitable influx of WiFi 7-enabled devices into work environments. The WBE710 provides a powerful access point for today, while providing the flexibility to prepare for future needs.”

The WBE710 offers easy local management and optional centralized cloud management with NETGEAR’s Insight management solution without the need for additional hardware. It also offers backward compatibility with all other NETGEAR Insight manageable wireless access points and previous generation WiFi devices, allowing businesses that rely heavily on wireless Internet for their daily operations to easily integrate it into their existing infrastructure.

Additional Features

  • Unmatched 802.11be performance with up to 9.4Gbps throughput.

  • You can set up eight separate wireless networks (SSIDs), perfect for businesses with many connected devices, including wireless printers, laptops, phones, tablets, and more.

  • It has a 2.5Gbps PoE+ Ethernet port for fast and easy cabling (the best NETGEAR switches to power the WBE710 are the MS108TUP, MS324TXUP, and MS510TXUP).

  • WiFi 7’s multi-link operation transmits and receives data on multiple bands simultaneously.

  • Seamless roaming and load balancing ensures unmatched user experience across the entire coverage area.

  • Share the dedicated wireless backhaul with other Pro WiFi APs to form a reliable Instant WiFi Mesh network.

  • MU-MIMO enables interference-free deployment of maximum client density.

  • Its compact design allows for easy ceiling or wall mounting, blending stylishly into any environment.

  • Integrated, omni-directional, optimized antenna for maximum RF performance and coverage.

  • Includes one year of Insight Remote Management.

NETGEAR’s Total Network Solution

The WBE710 is the latest addition to NETGEAR’s Total Network Solutions. Combined with the PR60X Pro routers, the latest Multi-Gig PoE switches, and NETGEAR Insight, this access point brings value and cutting-edge features to a complete network ecosystem that can be easily deployed, managed, and monitored from a single pane of glass.

The WBE710 is available today and can be purchased at major retailers for $349.99.
