Mahesh Raghavan is a musician with a unique twist that has taken social media by storm. Businessman Anand Mahindra shared an attractive video showcasing Raghavan’s talent for playing Indian classical music using an iPad, much to the delight of music lovers.
The clip begins with popular “iPad musician” Raghavan expertly playing Indian classical music on his device. Impressed by Raghavan’s artistry, Mahindra expressed his thoughts in the caption, saying, “An entire orchestra is made up of musicians, each playing an “instrument” of their choice using only an iPad.” I don’t know if I’m ready for the world. However, I have to admit that I am incredibly impressed with the talent of Mahesh Raghavan, who has a huge following. It’s clear he can get great music out of his “device”. Indians seem to have a knack for accessing, absorbing and adapting new technologies!”
I’m not sure orchestras as a whole are ready for a world consisting of each musician playing his or her chosen “instrument” solely on an iPad.
However, I have to admit that I am incredibly impressed with the talent of Mahesh Raghavan, who has a huge following.
