Motorola is all set to launch its latest budget smartphone in the G-series, the Motorola G45 5G, in India on August 21. But ahead of the smartphone’s official launch, the Lenovo sub-brand has revealed many of the key details of the new device, including the display, processor, camera, and storage options.
Motorola G45 5G specifications:
The Motorola G45 5G is confirmed to feature a 6.5-inch display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It will also be Dolby Atmos certified for an improved audio listening experience. While not going into details about all the bands, Motorola has stated that the G45 5G will support 13 5G bands.
Like other Motorola phones released this year, the G85 5G comes in three colours with a vegan leather finish on the back, a punch-hole style notch on the front and is IP52 rated for dust and water resistance.
In terms of optics, the Motorola G45 5G will feature a dual camera setup at the back with a 50MP primary sensor and a secondary sensor (likely a 2MP depth sensor), along with a 16MP front-facing camera that can be used for selfies and video calling.
It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, which is essentially a rebranded version of the Snapdragon 695 that was launched in 2021 and powers other budget smartphones such as the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite. The G45 5G comes in two storage options – 4GB RAM/128GB storage and 8GB RAM/128GB storage. It also supports RAM boost up to 16GB.
On the software front, the G45 5G runs on Motorola’s Hello UI based on Android 14, with the brand promising one year of OS updates and three years of security patches on the device.
