Motorola is refreshing its Moto G lineup with new smartphones for multiple price segments. Today, the company unveiled the Moto G45 in India, which has decent specs and is very affordable. But the company is also working on the Moto G55 5G for global markets, and a new leak has revealed its colors. Additionally, the report also includes specs for the upcoming Moto G35 5G.
Motorola’s Moto G series aims to leave no gap in the low-end and mid-range segments. According to 91mobiles, the Moto G55 5G and Moto G35 5G are expected to be launched in global markets in the coming weeks. As the names suggest, these are the successors to 2023’s Moto G54 5G and Moto G34 5G respectively.
Moto G55 5G will be released globally in three colors, and key specifications of Moto G35 5G also revealed
There aren’t many technical details available about the Moto G55 5G. However, it will be available in three colour options – grey, green and purple. One of the variants will come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. For reference, its predecessor (Moto G54 5G) boasts specs like a Dimensity 7020 chip, a 120Hz FHD+ LCD display, a 5,000mAh battery, and 15W charging.
Meanwhile, there are fewer secrets about the Moto G35 5G. Reports suggest the device will come with a UnisoC T760 chip, a Mali G57 GPU, 8GB of RAM, a 4,850mAh battery (advertised as 5,000mAh) and 20W charging. It will be available in 4GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB models.
The Moto G35 5G has already received TUV, EUT, FCC, EEC, IMEI and UL Demko approvals. It has also been listed on Geekbench. Potential buyers can choose from three colour options – Red, Green and Black. Last year’s model was available in India starting at Rs 10,999, so we expect the upcoming model to be priced in a similar range.
The Moto G54 5G and Moto G34 5G are expected to launch in September and December 2023, respectively. However, this is just speculation for now, but it’s possible that the next-gen models could hit the market at the same time.
