Motorola is all set to launch yet another entry-level smartphone. The release comes just a few weeks after the launch of the Moto G85 5G. We have already reviewed the G85 – read it here. And now, another member of the G-series is coming to the Indian market. The company has confirmed that the upcoming Moto G45 will continue its tradition of vegan leather and slim design. The smartphone has already been listed on Flipkart, revealing a ton of information ahead of its launch on August 21. Let’s take a look at the details.
Moto G45 5G launched in India
design: The Moto G45 5G will continue with the most acclaimed design of the G series. The smartphone comes with a vegan leather design finish. This design gave the Moto G85 a very premium look and it will be interesting to see if the Moto G45 can achieve the same design. The smartphone has a boxy look with rounded edges and a metal frame. As per the images from Flipkart, the frame will be the same colour as the smartphone. The Moto G45 5G will be available in three beautiful colours – Sea Green, Deep Blue and Red. We are sure that these are not marketing names.
screen: The Moto G45 5G has a 6.5-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The flat screen smartphone comes with a punch-hole display. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
Processor: The Moto G45 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen3 chipset and 8GB of RAM. The new device appears to be the predecessor to the Moto G34 5G that was launched earlier this year. According to its Flipkart micropage, the smartphone will run on Android 14. Along with other features, the new smartphone will also come with Smart Connect and Family Space, giving it a premium feel.
camera: The upcoming device will feature a 50-megapixel quad-pixel primary camera. For selfies and video calling, the Moto G45 5G will have a 16-megapixel front camera. The Flipkart listing also mentions that the camera will come with a range of features. The smartphone will come with camera features like auto image enhancement, macro vision camera, auto night vision, and more.
battery: The phone will come with a 5000mAh battery capacity. Motorola claims that the device will offer Turbopower fast charging. A charger will be included in the retail box.
Moto G45 5G: India price (estimated)
The Moto G45 5G will be sold on Flipkart after its launch on August 21. The exact price of the smartphone will be announced at the time of launch, but there are several speculations rife on the internet. It is expected to start at Rs 15,000. However, nothing will be clear until August 21.
