Golden retriever Banks has been breaking hearts on social media ever since his owner shared a video listing the things that scare him.
The heartwarming video, posted to Instagram in June under the username @itsmemrbanks, shows the puppy barking and hiding when he sees everything listed in the video, especially the last item, which causes the puppy to run away.
“Things that our golden retriever Banks is scared of,” the video’s text reads, showing how the pup reacts to each object: “Cocorobots, tarps, frogs, boxes, Halloween decorations, crawfish, dusters.” “Every day a new fear is unleashed and we’ve saved the scariest for last,” the caption accompanying the viral post read.

According to the American Kennel Club (AKC), Golden Retrievers tend to have a much longer active phase than other dog breeds, which means they mature more slowly and can be playful and downright mischievous well into adulthood.
Aside from the occasional mischief, Goldens are an incredibly hardworking breed. They’re used for everything from hunting to search and rescue, and also make excellent service and therapy dogs.
These pups need plenty of exercise during the day, from playing ball to hiking to swimming to any other form of exercise. They are excellent athletes who excel in a variety of sports.

Ryanjkrown posted: “Hahaha I love watching these videos. They make my chocolate labrador feel more at ease as he is terrified of strollers, shopping carts, golf bags, suitcases, palm leaves, plastic bags and the list goes on and on. LOL. [laughing my a** off]”
I_am_beccam added: “My golden retriever was scared of the giant pack of toilet paper I bought from the supermarket last week and kept barking.”
