Entertainment critic Mr. Logic
Apart from the economic and power problems facing Ghanaians, another problem that is exacerbating the plight of Ghana and some West African countries is unreliable internet connectivity.
Internet access has been disrupted in several West African countries, including Ghana, in recent days.
Various network providers contacted their customers and explained the situation. They said an undersea cable serving most countries in West Africa was severed.
This prompted some social media users to vent their frustrations and share how the situation is impacting various operations.
On the March 17 edition of UTV’s United Showbiz, hosted by MzGee, one of the topics discussed included unstable internet connections.
Entertainment critic Logic expressed concern about this issue, which he said illustrates that it is impossible to live without the Internet.
He said the internet is now involved in every individual’s daily business and how businesses are affected by poor internet connectivity shows that life is meaningless without the internet. .
“This situation shows how important data and technology have become. It’s strange that we can’t do anything about it. The bank is sending messages, and I received more than five messages from the bank. So I asked myself, what would we do if we woke up one day and this issue was shut down forever?
“Based on this, apart from the explanation given, I think we have to learn that we have been involved in digital systems. We cannot do anything. We find it difficult to reach people. “We should just pray because we are living with the internet. Without the internet, there is no life,” he said.
An update on the internet issue shared by the National Communications Authority (NCA) on March 16 states that it will take at least five weeks for the issue to be resolved.
