No. 3 seed Kentucky was eliminated in the first big upset of March Madness, falling to No. 14 Oakland on Jack Gaelke’s incredible 10 3-pointers. And while much of the internet was happy to see the Wildcats lose (especially since the SEC is currently 0-3 in the tournament, with all three losses coming to lower-seeded teams), one Kentucky Fans captured the hearts of men all over the world.
After the match, the woman looked understandably disappointed. But the internet was quick to offer to cheer her up…
Some have identified the mystery woman as Madison Shepard Wigginton, the younger sister of Kentucky freshman guard Reed Shepard and a basketball player herself who played at Campbellsville University in her hometown of Kentucky. .
Of course, this happens almost every year when attractive girls appear during sporting events.
