For every Indian foodie, Dal Chawal is the ultimate comfort food. A simple home-cooked dish of rice with lentils and ghee takka takes on a whole new flavor. Rice has always been a staple of Indian cuisine, and foodies love pairing it with everything from chole to rajma to chicken curry. But chocolate pudding will definitely be the last of these. The reason I made this strange comparison is because a video blogger named Scott Hentzepeter shared a video demonstrating how to make a bowl of chocolate. Well, in this clip, not only is he shown making this strange food combination, he even dared to go further and sample it. The clip begins with Scott mixing an entire bag of chocolate chip cookies with boiling water. He begins pressing the biscuits, and their crispy, hard structure turns into a mashed pudding-like consistency. Once the pudding has absorbed all the water, add the canned carrots and peas to the pot. Then top with chopped sweet corn. After cooking for a while to mix everything properly, he transfers the vegetable pudding onto a bowl of cooked rice. Not only that, he sampled this combination and rated it 8 out of 10.

Needless to say, the internet was not impressed with his food pairings. Several users flooded the comment section with reactions. Comments include, “At first I thought, ‘Wow, I baked cookies.’ Then I thought, ‘This looks delicious, I think I could make something good,’ and then I thought, ‘Wow.'” there were.
The user asked, “What’s wrong?”
“Just seeing this gave me food poisoning,” one person wrote.
“When I saw the cookies and veggies I thought oh he’s late (sic),” read one comment.
Another read: “This guy loves food poisoning. If he keeps doing food poisoning like this he’ll stop posting soon.”
Some even claimed that if British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay saw this combination, he definitely wouldn’t be happy about it. One user commented: “This booty gave Gordon Ramsay a heart attack.”
