Jio has introduced a new prepaid recharge plan for Rs 198, which is also the company’s most affordable plan with unlimited 5G data access. The validity period is 14 days and offers 2GB 4G data per day, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day. It also includes subscriptions to JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud.
This is currently the company’s most affordable plan that offers unlimited 5G data access, albeit for a limited validity period. Meanwhile, the company’s most affordable plan with unlimited 5G and one-month validity is priced at Rs 349, which also offers 2GB 4G data along with unlimited 5G for 28 days.

So, even if you recharge twice a month, it will cost you Rs 396 per month, a bit more than the monthly plan with unlimited 5G. Users can get this new plan through the MyJio app or any other prepaid recharge platform. Some platforms like Google Pay, Paytm, PhonePe charge an additional recharge fee of Rs 1-3, but MyJio will not charge any such fee.
Provider | Plan Price (Rs.) | valid | 4G Data | 5G Data |
Geo | 198 | 14 days | 2 GB/day | Unlimited |
Geo | 349 | 28th | 2 GB/day | Unlimited |
Airtel | 379 | 30 Days | 2 GB/day | Unlimited |
Airtel’s most affordable 5G plan is priced at Rs 379 per month, slightly more expensive than Jio’s, but has a validity of one month, while the same plan from Jio is limited to 28 days. Users who have another recharge plan with less than 2GB data can also recharge to an add-on plan to experience 5G speeds on both Jio and Airtel networks.
