What Jaya says about anxiety attacks
In the episode, Jaya Bachchan shared how the internet is giving the younger generation a sense of recognition. When that increases stress, it can lead to anxiety attacks.
she said: “You may not think you’re stressed, but you are. When we were kids, anxiety attacks were unheard of. Even at my age, I’ve never heard of it. Where does this come from?” This is because you’re constantly being fed information, like, “What does this girl look like? This information comes from “How do you wear your makeup?” “That’s where the anxiety comes from. There’s too much information.”
Shweta responded by saying that she disagreed with her opinion and said that while anxiety has always been present, it has only become more pronounced in recent times.
About online shopping
In the same episode, Jaya also talked about how she tried shopping on the internet. She then added that she was very dissatisfied when her product was delivered. She added that “technological advances” are good for everyone involved. Shweta isn’t like that, and she said she buys everything from clothes to cosmetics online because she doesn’t want to wait in queues. Jaya quickly joked that she had “never had to wait in line.”
