The iQOO Z9s Pro 5G is cheaper than the Realme 13 Pro. However, the top-end model of the Realme 13 Pro offers 512GB of storage. So, if you want more storage, this is the better choice. If you want to save money, you can choose the iQOO Z9s Pro.

iQOO is offering an instant bank discount of Rs 3,000 or an exchange bonus of Rs 3,000 in its first sale on August 23. Realme is offering an instant bank discount of Rs 2,000 on EMI transactions on HDFC Bank debit and credit cards. The company is also offering an additional exchange bonus of Rs 4,000 on the Realme 13 Pro 5G on Realme India e-Store and Flipkart.

iQOO Z9s Pro 5G vs Realme 13 Pro 5G: Design

  • The iQOO Z9s Pro 5G is available in Flamboyant Orange and Luxe Marble colour options. The device is 7.99mm thick and weighs 190 grams (Vegan Leather model). The standard model is 7.49mm thick and weighs 185 grams. The device has a square camera module at the back and is IP64 dust and water resistant.
  • The Realme 13 Pro 5G comes in Monet Purple, Monet Gold, and Emerald Green (vegan leather) colour options with a thickness of 8.4mm (vegan leather) and 8.23mm (glass). It weighs 188 grams for the vegan leather edition and 183.5 grams for the glass edition. Realme has given the device a Monet-inspired design with a circular camera module, glossy AG glass, and IP65 dust and water resistance.

The Realme 13 Pro 5G is available in two variants – glass and vegan leather back panel, giving it an edge over the iQOO Z9s Pro 5G. The Realme smartphone is lightweight and comes with advanced IP65 dust and water resistance.

  • The iQOO Z9s Pro 5G features a 6.77-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display has a peak brightness of 4500 nits, HDR10+, Wet Touch support, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 2000Hz instant touch sampling rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 93.13% screen-to-body ratio.
  • The Realme 13 Pro 5G boasts of a 6.7-inch curved ProXDR AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM high-frequency dimming. The display has a peak brightness of 2000 nits, 100% P3 color gamut, 2000Hz instant touch sampling rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

Both smartphones have 3D curved AMOLED displays with similar resolution and refresh rate, although iQOO has a slightly brighter AMOLED panel on the iQOO Z9s Pro 5G, while the Realme 13 Pro 5G has the advantage of including Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection to ensure durability.

The Realme 13 Pro 5G comes with stereo speakers with OReality audio, Hi-Res audio certification and dual-mic noise cancellation. The iQOO Z9s Pro 5G also comes with a stereo speaker setup with Hi-Res audio.

iQOO Z9s Pro 5G vs Realme 13 Pro 5G: Processor

  • iQOO Z9s Pro 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC manufactured on a 4nm process, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The chipset is equipped with one Kryo Prime (Cortex-A715) core, three Kryo Gold (Cortex-A715) cores, four Kryo Silver (Cortex-A510) cores, and an Adreno 720 GPU. iQOO has equipped the smartphone with 4D Game Vibration, Motion Control, AI Game Voice Changer, and a 30 cm² VC liquid cooling system.
  • The Realme 13 Pro 5G is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC manufactured on a 4nm process, LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS 3.1 internal storage. The chipset has four Cortex-A78 cores, four Cortex-A55 cores, and an Adreno 710 GPU. Realme has also equipped the device with a 3D VC cooling system with an area of ​​4,500mm².

The iQOO Z9s Pro 5G’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC has a faster CPU and GPU, giving it a slight edge over the 7s Gen 2. The Realme 13 Pro 5G has a faster storage type, offering faster transfer speeds and making it the better choice in terms of performance. However, it remains to be seen how the iQOO Z9s Pro will perform in benchmarks and in real-world conditions, so we’ll have to wait and see.

Both the smartphones feature a VC cooling system to keep the device cool during extended gaming sessions.

  • The iQOO Z9s Pro 5G runs Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14 and will receive two major Android updates and three years of security patch updates. The device supports app retainer, split screen, and mini window features. Camera-specific AI features include AI erase, AI photo enhancement, and more.
  • The Realme 13 Pro 5G ships with Realme UI 5 based on Android 14 and will receive two major Android updates and three years of security patch updates. AI features include AI Pure Bokeh, AI Natural Skin Tone, AI Audio Zoom, and more.

For selfies, iQOO has equipped the smartphone with a 16MP snapper with f/2.4 aperture.
  • The Realme 13 Pro 5G sports a triple camera setup at the back that includes a 50MP Sony LYT 600 main camera with f/1.88 aperture and OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, Realme has equipped the device with a 32MP Sony camera with af/2.45 aperture.

Both the iQOO Z9s Pro 5G and Realme 13 Pro 5G have the same camera on the back. When it comes to selfies, the Realme 13 Pro 5G has the advantage as it has a higher resolution 32MP snapper. Realme has also equipped the device with some AI features to enhance the user experience.

iQOO Z9s Pro 5G vs Realme 13 Pro 5G: Battery and Charging

  • The iQOO Z9s Pro 5G is powered by a 5,500mAh battery that supports 80W FlashCharge wired fast charging technology and 7.5W reverse wired charging technology. iQOO claims that the smartphone can charge from 0 to 50% in 21 minutes.
  • The Realme 13 Pro 5G packs a smaller 5,200mAh battery that supports 45W SuperVOOC fast charging technology, and Realme claims that the device can charge from 1% to 50% in 27 minutes.

The iQOO Z9s Pro 5G outperforms the Realme 13 Pro 5G by featuring a slightly larger battery, faster wired charging technology, and reverse wired charging technology. Both smartphones are also claimed to maintain up to 80% battery health for four years.

iQOO Z9s Pro 5G vs Realme 13 Pro 5G: Verdict

The iQOO Z9s Pro 5G is a budget smartphone that comes with a more powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, a larger battery, and faster wired charging technology. The company has equipped the device with a brighter 3D curved AMOLED display. It also comes with AI camera capabilities.

Meanwhile, the Realme 13 Pro 5G is recommended for buyers who prefer a premium design with glass and vegan leather on the back. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection and an IP65 rating for added durability. Realme has also equipped the device with slightly better cameras and AI features.
