iQOO Z9 5G smartphone: Chinese technology company iQOO is scheduled to launch iQOO Z9 5G smartphone in India on March 12th. In this smartphone, the company has installed MediaTek Dimension 7200 processor, which is a first in this segment. The smartphone can pack a 5,000mAh battery and a 50MP dual rear camera setup.

The smartphone is expected to be priced at Rs 24,999. iQOO shared information about the release date on its website and social media platform X. In addition to this, the company has also revealed some of the specifications of this smartphone.

However, some features of the iQOO Z9 5G smartphone have already been revealed in media reports.

Features and specs expected from iQOO Z9 5G smartphone

Processor: This high-performance smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimension 7200 processor based on Android 14 operating system.

Battery and charging: The company can offer a 5000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support on the iQOO Z9 5G smartphone.

camera: The back panel of the smartphone will feature a 50MP dual camera setup with a Sony IMX882 OIS sensor. The 16MP front camera can be used for selfies and video calls. The iQOO Z9 5G is confirmed to feature a dual rear camera unit, including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 camera paired with optical image stabilization and a 5,000mAh battery. The thickness is 7.83mm.

screen: The iQOO Z9 5G smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1260×2800 and a refresh rate of 120Hz with a peak brightness of 1800 nits. The Vivo sub-brand iQOO Z9 5G is teased to come with an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Equipped with dual stereo speakers and a 5,000mAh battery. iQOO Z9 5G has already been confirmed to run on MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC. The next phone is expected to arrive as a successor to this year’s iQOO Z7 5G.

RAM and storage: The company can offer the iQOO Z9 5G smartphone option with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Storage is expandable up to 1TB.

The company will launch iQOO Z9 5G in two colors – Brushed Green and Graphene Blue in the Indian market. The smartphone has an on-screen fingerprint sensor.

Amazon and iQOO India have created a dedicated microsite on their website to tease the arrival of iQOO Z9 5G.
