When India invented chess, it had the highest GDP in the world for millennia. Later, China won the battle against China Checker mainly due to its superiority in cyber espionage and hardware manufacturing. It’s time for India to win the war with 3D chess and her AIOps edge computing.

Over the past decade, India’s IT sector has achieved tremendous success in application development, bringing significant changes to the way we live, work, do business, and the way the industry continues to reinvent itself. However, India lags behind China, Japan, South Korea, Europe, and the US in terms of hardware infrastructure in the telecom and media sector, but the industry is set to move towards 5G/6G edge computing with smart cities and smart grids. There will be a lot of confusion from the beginning. , A smart campus incorporating new innovations. Now, these technologies are moving to the “edge,” creating new forms of applications and media for people to communicate. It’s time to innovate again and bring these to homes, businesses and villages.
Personally, I worked as a former chief architect for 3G/4G at Siemens Mobile’s TRex building in Boca Raton, Florida, which is significant because it is where the IBM PC was first invented. The first true form of computing at the “edge”!
industry 4.0 with 5G and future 6G has increased the potential for digital transformation, but also increased the need for structural change with new processes, workflows, tools, and new AI-based distributed intelligence needs. Industry 4.0 combines and connects digital, physical, and virtual technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, just-in-time manufacturing, robotics, and hybrid edge cloud computing with virtualization to become more flexible and responsive. , promoting the intelligent and interconnected. Businesses can make more informed decisions based on real-time analytics and leverage new AI/algorithms that drive things with policy controls and new governance models.
AI, algorithms, and decision tree automation tools are deployed to:
- autonomous robotics
- AI-based control
- optimization platform
- behavior analysis
- Conversational AI bot
So how do we get there?
a Governance models are needed to evaluate AI/algorithms/decision trees for ethical/social/legal norms. Ideally, for example, compliance with privacy rules such as GDPR, compliance with anti-bias laws, or a technical assessment of the quality of the analytics being used. Provides human override functionality. This could be part of an AIOps or MLOps strategy.
Over the next decade, we will see continued advances across different areas of artificial intelligence (machine learning, deep learning, conversational AI), improvements in the cost/performance of AI computing, and AI capabilities through artificial intelligence as a service (AIaaS). (Ubiquitous access to) service delivery models, and emerging computing technologies such as quantum computing will make digital infrastructure, devices, and services smarter and more context-aware.
Three converging themes that I believe will shape the evolution of 5G/6G communications infrastructure over the next decade.
- Autonomous hyperconverged network – A self-organizing, self-healing, and self-managing network that can dynamically and intelligently deploy, orchestrate, and manage hyperconverged network and computing services anywhere.
- Trust Platform – A comprehensive, integrated security platform that enables new business, trust, and transaction models that support new privacy regulations and laws. The platform also gives consumers control over their privacy through centralized and decentralized identity, policy, rights management, and securely authenticated and provisioned intermediaries.
- Cyber-physical infrastructure – The new infrastructure that supports the interfaces and interactions between digital and physical entities (digital twins) that are all involved in and part of the Internet. This infrastructure also provides digital media and a contextual framework that enables the exchange of cyber-physical experiences.

It’s time for the next moonshot in AI: Artificial Intelligence, ML: Machine Learning, and Cybersecurity.
As India becomes a superpower, it needs a combination of AIOps and cybersecurity frameworks with 5G/6G edge computing to rise above the rest of the world.
To achieve this with AI, see the diagram below for recommended combinations with AI/ML.
