In a strategic move to strengthen India’s 5G ecosystem, Qualcomm is offering its premium 5G training programs free of charge to industry professionals across the country. The initiative, launched to mark India’s Independence Day, is a limited-time opportunity available until August 18.
Traditionally designed for university students, the Qualcomm Academy 5G university program is now also available to working professionals who would normally pay Rs 41,000 for this in-depth training.
“5G is transforming key industries globally and in India, so it is important to understand how 5G technology works and how it can be applied to create India-specific use cases across disciplines,” Sabih Soin, senior vice president and president, Qualcomm India, said in a prepared statement sent via email. He further emphasized the importance of the program in enabling Indian professionals to leverage 5G technology, thereby positioning India as a global leader in 5G innovation.
